In 2015, Sam Ross founded Nailed It Contracting, Inc. Growing up the son of a painter, Sam began in the trades at 12 years old. Working throughout high school and college, Sam honed and expanded his skills. Now at the age of 27, Sam has been painting for over 15 years, and remodeling for the past 3 years.
Attending the University of Louisville on academic scholarship, Sam majored and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in Biology. Missing the joy of working with his hands, Sam decided to go back to his roots and start his own contracting company. Nailed It Contracting, Inc. is a company founded on a few basic principles - honesty, integrity, craftsmanship, and professionalism.

Our Work

This project was quite a transformation. These walls had glued panelboard. Once removed, large amounts of glue and damage remained. Instead of ripping out everything and starting new, the decision was made to salvage the walls by skimming them with drywall mud back to normal. This decision had two benefits - less demo/dust/disruption for the buidling, and less enviromental impact (no need to have the drywall end up in a landfill).

We have been so impressed with Sam and his team. They are honest, punctual, affordable, and conscientious. We provided him a key to our property while we were in the middle of a big move and he came and finished drywall work and painting with no issues. He covers his surroundings to ensure no paint or drywall gets onto your belongings. He has an excellent attitude and is a hard worker. This is extremely hard to find with contractors and we have been so impressed with not only his work, but his reliability. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you so much Sam for making what could have been a stressful
