About Us
Report
Dr. Arlyn Cuthbertson moved to Elko in 1953 soon after graduating from veterinary school at University of California Davis. He was eager to build a practice centered around livestock. At that time the practice was about 80% large animal and only 20% serving cats and dogs and other various species.
General Services
Report
Elko Veterinary Clinic is an aggressive mixed animal practice specializing in both small and large animal medicine and surgery. The facility is completely computerized with digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, large and small dentistry a complete In-house laboratory, and companion Laser Therapy.
Laser Therapy
Report
Laser therapy has been around since the 1970s but has only recently been certified for use in veterinary care. Nevertheless, it has been shown to be a highly effective treatment used to accelerate your pet's natural healing process and provide significant relief from pain and other associated issues.
Eye Exams for Pets
Report
Healthy eyes aren't just important for us humans. Your pet is equally as reliant on having healthy eyes and clear vision to enjoy a full, active and happy life. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that your precious furbaby undergoes at least an annual eye exam. This is a comprehensive, non-invasive assessment that is completely painless for your pet.
Ultrasound
Report
Much like detecting health problems in humans, it is rarely easy to identify a problem with your pet just by looking at her. In fact, it can be very difficult to tell that your pet is ill at all since animals have a natural tendency to try and mask signs of injury or sickness so that they don't appear weak and vulnerable.
