My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Michael J. LeBlanc since 2002 and have watched his practice grow over the years with great pride. Dr. LeBlanc and his staff are friendly, welcoming and very competent; we are always greeted with a big smile and usually a hug or two : Dr. LeBlanc takes time to visit with us, which is a rare quality in a Dr. these days, and he always inquires about us personally; not just as our dentist.
Over the years we've had everything from biannual cleanings to caps, crowns and even fixing chipped teeth. When I needed braces as an adult, Dr. LeBlanc was my only choice. We moved away from LA in 2016 but were unable to find a dentist as wonderful as Dr. LeBlanc and his staff, so we drive from AL to Prairieville for all our dental needs.

Don't let old-wives' tales about painful root canals stop you from seeing the dentist. The truth is that root canals are not painful; the agony you've heard about comes from the infected, untreated tooth. For various reasons, the inside of a tooth (called the pulp), may become infected. When decay spreads to the tooth's pulp, removal of the pulp becomes necessary to salvage the healthy exterior of the tooth.
