You will begin by focusing on the basics, but it does not stop there. In this class, you explore the physical poses and the awareness that builds as you practice them.
This 4-class series is designed as an introduction to yoga and vinyasa flow for absolute beginner students. Although the class is taught in English, we speak Spanish too and will do our best to make this class accessible. In this series, you will learn all the necessary components required to complete 'Surya Namaskar A', the most common of the sun salutations.

My husband and I have been going to this studio for little over 6months and really appreciate each instructor’s unique approach to classes and the non judgmental atmosphere. We especially feel more comfortable practicing yoga with their requirement that all yogis must be vaccinated. Our favorite classes are Yin and Sound Bath but do a variety. Excellent spot to rebalance.

Decent studio with an array of classes available. Pricing and schedule are the big sellers here- truth be told the two other locations of Red diamond are much nicer in my opinion. This one is a little dark and clearly used to be something fairly depressing. They have a nice area with some items for sale, and a nice touch is the wet towels with essential oil for after class!
It is clean, they have all the props you could want, and the people there are nice! Classes have always been tiny (but,Covid, so who knows what things were/will be like in more normal time.

I’ve been looking for a yoga studio for a while now and it’s been hard to find the right space with amazing teachers. I signed up today with an intro offer and did back to back classes. Loved the Sun Flow (taught by Claire)- prepare to work up a sweat! And followed it with an amazing Yin class. The vibe here is so welcoming, and everyone I spoke to was incredible. I highly recommend checking this place out if you crave a spiritual and community component with your practice. Yoga is a lifestyle - not (just) a fitness class! They also have a mandatory mask policy, regardless of vaccination. I

I had been looking for a new yoga studio and happened upon Red Diamond Yoga on Washington. There are several studios closer to me, but this far I’m happy I’ve chosen this one. They have a great new student offer which engages me in trying new classes and new instructors. Thus far I’m impressed.

The studio in Palms is great! Clean with lots of rest rooms. They have three separate studio rooms at this location—pre-covid they had a lot of classes scheduled simultaneously, so you had a lot of variations to choose from. Right now they have about 4-5 live classes total per day—and they stream for yogis working out at home.
I’m a bit of a beginner but even in the intermediate classes, the teacher always accommodates for all skill levels.
I’m getting a monthly membership for unlimited classes for $119 otherwise it’s about $22 per class (although they do offer a few “community”

Just finished my fifth session here and am digging the range of classes they offer. There's a variety of yoga in studio or on the roof, sound baths, and breath work sessions -- one I attended was under the full moon to a soundtrack of Pink Floyd!
On Yoga - Stephanie's Yin and Yan session was my favorite. 30min of rigorous poses followed by a 30min relaxing, stretch everything Yin session. I am a total beginner and was seriously surprised by some of the poses she was able to help me hit. Very clear instruction and helpful hands on adjustment that helps build a foundation of the basics

I loved my experience at red Diamond yoga! Parking was free and easy and the rooftop breathe work and sound bath was incredible during the sunset. It was a little cold but it was a magical experience. It was my first time there. They had a bathroom downstairs in the yoga studio. We didn’t have to wear masks because we were outside but you can if you want to. I brought a blanket and a yoga mat and a girl friend with me. It was her first time trying a sound bath and breathe work ever and she enjoyed it. Thanks so much red Diamond. I would highly recommend this to my friends and family. I would

Wonderful studio, there are lots of classes offered at all different times and the days. I found great Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes for beginners like myself, and more advanced classes Tuesday's and Thursday's evenings. Each instructor has their own sequence they follow, which keeps things more challenging. Amazing Breathwork and Soundbath classes. Highly recommend to try Red Diamond Yoga!

Y-7 the yoga studio I love and the yoga studio that made me fall in love with yoga hasn't opened since the pandemic. I thought I wouldn't miss yoga and I could go on without it in my life, at least until the pandemic was over. I was kidding myself and I missed it dearly, so I went on the mind and body app to search for studios doing outdoor yoga. My search brought me to Red Diamond Yoga, advertised as rooftop and outdoors it instantly sounded better than any rooftop bar I'd been to. Count me in! I brought a intro pack and I'm thoroughly enjoying my experience. I've taken

A friend introduced me to the Friday night sound bath/meditation/Yin yoga class. I've done probably half a dozen sound baths, I meditate on the regular and while I'm currently on a break from yoga, it was refreshing to learn more about Yin yoga which I honestly knew nothing about. The gentle elongated stretches felt really great
I had a truly wonderful experience. There were two women with their bowls and gongs on opposite sides of where I had laid my mat down and the cacophony of sound was just unreal in the best possible way. At the beginning of the class they asked if anybody had

Used to come here a lot. I've been doing yoga for about 30 years and have went through a yoga teacher training myself. Honestly, I got really bored. Most classes I've attended are what I call "yoga simon says". The instructors basically lead you thought a flow class that could easily be done at home watching a youtube video. Not much adjustment, not much explanation. And not much variety. I'm used to classes where you go to the wall, do headstands and challenge yourself. The body needs variety. There are so many more poses then warrior and down dog yet every class I&apos

Rooftop yoga with Red Diamond has been such a welcome relief for these crazy, distanced times. Being able to be outside and move with birds chirping and wind blowing almost feels like coming out of hibernation. The distancing feels very comfortable and the cork mats they provide as a cushion between your own mat (still needed) and the ground remove the issues of being on concrete. Sometimes it feels like being back with the community, even for an hour, is as beneficial for the mind as the yoga.

Came for a rooftop yoga class last Sunday and it was amazing! I've done a couple of outdoor yoga classes but being on the rooftop, with no outside people around, was awesome. Definitely one of the best classes I've attended in awhile and I felt so zen after.
It was an early class, so the marine layer was out when class started but by the end of class we could see all the way to the Hollywood sign. It was A beautiful day!
The way they set it up is super thoughtful too, with half the mats in the shade and half in the sun. There was also temperature checking and sanitizer galore so it

Long overdue review here.
I started in February 10th with the $10 10 days unlimited as I never did yoga before.
I was hooked right away.
I enrolled for a 6 months membership, rearrange my schedule to make sure I'll go often (Monday's Wednesday's, Saturday's and Sunday's)
With covid 19 they were very communicative and did online class.
They reopened in June and I felt at ease to go back because it was sanitized, temperature check, social distancing and mask
And they are pretty imaginative! Second closure no problem: rooftop yoga !!!! Yes how cool it is to practice yoga

I recently attended a roof top yin yoga class. What a wonderful idea! It was great to be outside, Covid safe as everyone had a lot of space between them. They provided a kind of cork mat for you to put your own mat on. Sara, the teacher used a small mic so everyone could hear. There was plenty of free parking.
I'd definitely go again!

Red diamond is awesome! They offer such a huge variety of yoga classes including some with sound baths or Pilates incorporated. They have a big space with more than one studio so there are almost always classes, which is so convenient. They're super clean and sanitary, I've been going since studios opened up again (since COVID) and I've felt really safe and comfortable and just so happy to moving again! They also have great live streams!

Red Diamond Yoga is a great yoga studio for anyone and everyone. I recently started getting back into my practice after a few years off. To kick off 2020 right, I joined ClassPass which is how I found Red Diamond. They have a wide variety of classes everyday of the week. The studio does not give off the bougie vibe that some on the Westside can. Everybody is down to earth and I never feel uncomfortable. Everyone just wants to have some good yoga practice!
So far I have tried Yoga Sculpt, Strong Flow, and Yin & Yang. Every class was different and I liked each one. Sculpt used light

I used to live down the street from this studio, and even though I moved I still go here, and I recommend it to anyone on the West Side!
Red Diamond is the best studio I've ever been to. It offers a variety of instructors and classes of different levels, but it still feels very down-to-earth and welcoming to all.
I recommend this place to anyone looking to start or restart their yoga practice, especially since the new student special is a great deal.

Just adding an update. I'm so fortunate to have found this studio! I was going 3-4x a week for probably 6 months before starting a new job which has unfortunately taken over my time.. I've only been able to go like once a week if that.. I ended up cancelling my monthly membership and the owner Kevin was so kind and worked with me to get a class package that would work best for me and my schedule. I do love going there and just having him reach out to me personally to accommodate me and my new hectic schedule was really a nice touch. I highly recommend coming here! I haven't had a

I've taken 5 classes with 4 different instructors and they were all great! Each instructor has their very own unique way of teaching and different flows. I like that Daphne uses lavander aroma therapy during class :) I'm new to yoga so finding a place where I can feel comfortable and be able to learn well the poses while also relaxing was huge. I was afraid at first but I'm so glad I found this place!

Just finished up with a teachers training course here at Red Diamond studio! A well rounded course with high quality materials.
Everyone should set their sights on a course like this, It is life expanding in every way!
The teachers here are some of the top yoga instructors in all of L.A.
Everyone here is under diligent supervision with the hands on owners ,Sheryl and Arlene Utal.
They are all very passionate, inspirational and extremely knowledgeable with the yogi practice.
We learned so much in this course but my favorite part was learning about the alignment and realignment of the Asanas

I absolutely LOVE this studio. I've been coming for a little over 3 months + look forward to every class I take. I have taken from a majority of the teachers (mostly April, Sarah, Layna + Lindsay, but also Ashley, Emily + Laura) + what I love is that there is a consistency to their teaching, but each instructor brings something completely different… + unique. I learn something new each class + never feel as if I have taken the same class twice. I always have a good time, as they all have wonderful senses of humor and they create an atmosphere that is not intimidating at all, but inclusive
