Too often staff in roles similar to her's know their jobs, but lack the skills to make it a comfortable and not unpleasant process for the customer.

Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a method of removing dents from vehicles using specialized tools and careful attention to detail. Dents from an inch across to large cave-ins can be removed in a few hours. The main requirement for the PDR method is that the paint coat over the dent is intact and uncracked.

Photograph the scene from multiple angles. If there is not an urgent need to move the vehicles, try photograph them exactly as they are, prior to moving them. Move vehicles to safety and call for medical assistance if necessary. If you vehicle is blocking traffic or in danger of being hit again by passing cars, you will want to play it safe.

Know your rights with your insurance agency in case of an accident. Minnesota state law protects you under statute 72a.201 when you make a claim on your automotive insurance. Your insurance company is not allowed to require that you use a shop that they choose. They are also not allowed to attempt to pressure you into choosing one of their preferred shops.
