Services
New Roofs
We specialize in complete roof installations for residential and commercial properties using premium materials that withstand Mendocino County's coastal climate. Our process includes precise measurements, proper underlayment application, and expert shingle or metal roofing installation. Each project receives personalized attention to flashing details, ventilation requirements, and aesthetic considerations, ensuring long-term protection and enhanced property value through durable, code-compliant construction.
Re-Roofing
Our re-roofing services address aging or damaged roofs through complete tear-off and replacement solutions. We assess structural integrity, repair underlying damage, and install modern roofing systems that improve energy efficiency. This includes dry rot repair, plywood replacement, and upgraded insulation while maintaining architectural compatibility with historic properties across Mendocino's diverse neighborhoods.
Roof Maintenance
Our preventative maintenance programs extend roof longevity through regular inspections and targeted repairs. Services include sealant application, fastener replacement, and drainage system checks to prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. Annual tune-ups mirror automotive maintenance principles, addressing wear points before they compromise structural integrity or allow water intrusion.
Gutter Installation
We design and install customized gutter and downspout systems that protect properties from water damage. Our solutions feature seamless aluminum gutters, leaf guards, and strategic downspout placement to manage runoff effectively. Proper installation ensures proper water diversion away from foundations while complementing architectural styles across both modern and historic Mendocino County buildings.
Commercial Roofing
Our commercial roofing division handles large-scale projects for businesses and multi-unit properties. Services include flat roof membrane installation, metal roofing systems, and maintenance contracts tailored to commercial needs. We prioritize minimal disruption during business hours while delivering durable solutions that meet strict commercial building codes and insurance requirements.

Called for a quote , did not even want to come look and see how much it would be to fix a leak. Complained about costing him money to take a look. Worthless company

Dunlap replaced my "lifetime" roof when it started leaking. Had to remove the old and replace. His team did a great job of keeping us informed as absentee owners. Photos of the job throughout the process. He has also stood by his work years later. Honest and fair.

Very professional. Went above and beyond to repair two leaks in my roof. They are in high demand, so you may need to wait a bit, but they are definitely worth the wait to know that the job was done correctly and thoroughly.

If anybody wants to read a mean and horrible letter from Dunlap roofing go ahead and hit me up a private message these people are very mean and rude and they didn’t have the right permit for the roof they put on that leak for years after not until code and Forssman came out they actually fixed it
