Beds on Clouds is a jewel in the crown of the Great Northern Catskill Mountains. The 1854 Victorian Osborn House was founded in 2001 by Susumu and Rebecca Sato and was transformed into Beds on Clouds in 2004 after extensive renovations to restore the house to its former glory. Here in the heart of Greene County, our guests can experience nature's beauty throughout the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Catskill Mountains Clouds is the most spacious room at Cloud Studios. Surrounded by windows on 3 sides, it features a ceiling painting of lovely blue clouds by artist Betty Sweet that transport your senses to the high mountains. This second story studio provides a wonderful view of the gardens and trees it overlooks.

Beds on Clouds Inn has unique hosts, representing an International Artistic flavor to your visit. Native German/Prussian, Rebecca is a world traveler and is fluent in German, French and Italian. Susumu is from Japan's snow paradise Sapporo, Hokkaido (Winter Olympics 1971). Their collaboration started in New York City with Susumu Sato's professional photographic eye and Rebecca Segerstrom's creative flair in presentation.

Here you will find 34 slopes and trails spanning two mountain peaks with a 1600-foot vertical drop. There's literally something for everyone: a separate learning terrain for beginners, groomed cruising runs for all levels, and moguls and steeps for experts.

The Inn has many collectibles, neighboring Old King's Antiques store, as well as Saugerties and Hudson, which also have many antique dealers.
