In 1973, Bob and Edna Hudgens opened Coastal Realty Services. Bob was a pilot and an engineer in the Air Force, stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in 1968. After investing in her first career as a military wife and mother, Edna earned her Real Estate license in the early 1970s. She became a dynamite salesperson and broker, well-respected in the Real Estate community.

I can honestly say, I've learned the real estate business from the ground up. In the afternoons after high school, I'd dig post holes in the front yards of new listings, mow yards and paint for my parents new real estate office.
After going to the University of Florida and earning my degree in Business Computer Science and then the University of West Florida earning my Master's degree in Business Administration, I received my salesperson's real estate license and then soon thereafter my broker's license in 1985.Since then I've worked every aspect of a general real estate brokerage business.

I began my Real Estate career in 2010 as the Maintenance Director for Coastal Realty Services. Once I received my Sales Associate license, I became a property manager in 2012 and I then became the Director of Property Management in Dec of 2016. I graduated from University of Central Florida in 2005, which is where I met my better half, Kimmie.
