It is our committed belief that a funeral is the celebration of a person's life and a public recognition that our lives have been touched. We believe that each person is entitled to a funeral service, which represents their personal choices, and one that is carried out with dignity and professionalism.
We believe that we provide funeral services within the financial means of all who call upon us, paying special attention to the unique and particular needs of each family. It is our desire to provide thoughtful, dignified services at anytime of the night or day and to honor the trust that you place in us to service and console with utmost respect.

About Us
Report
The late H. Vann Davis, Jr. and his wife, Mary, founded Davis Funeral Service, Inc. as second careers, on the principle that they wanted to provide a ministry of caring to all who called in their time of greatest need. They believed everyone was entitled to a dignified, reverent, and respectable funeral service.
Services
Report
Understanding that each family's wishes are different, we offer numerous alternatives. Together with your family, we can help create a service of remembrance and a tribute to life as unique as the individual. The traditional funeral service and burial is the most common service of remembrance in this area.
Pre-Arrangements
Report
Funded: Selection of funeral goods and services, and recording of vital statistics. The charges for these services are frozen, regardless of when services are provided. This is the option most families select in order to "freeze" the price of a service and provide them peace of mind. Options for Pre-funding: Some people like to pay in one lump sum; however, more and more people are choosing payments over time.
Veterans Overview
Report
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
Veterans Headstones
Report
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
