My name is Dr. Izaz Khan and I was born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology, attained a Master's Degree in Biomolecular Sciences from Central Connecticut State University, and attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2014.

A comprehensive exam gives a starting point to determine your dental health and the type of dental care you'll need as a new patient. With oral cancer screening, we can identify the first signs of cancer and precancerous conditions to get you the immediate treatment you need. Digital radiographs allow us to identify and document tooth and gum problems not visible to the naked eye.

A comprehensive exam, or in other words a check-up, is recommended each year to make sure you have healthy teeth and gums. With routine exams, you can save yourself time, money and the pain that comes with tooth decay and infections that go unnoticed. A comprehensive exam is separated into three parts.

Your oral health is very important to us, and if you think you are at risk or may have symptoms of oral cancer we would like to see you as soon as possible. Early detection is key when diagnosing and treating oral cancer. Oral cancer is defined as the uncontrollable division of cells that have the ability to cause damage to the affected areas as well as the surrounding tissue.

Digital imaging aids Dr. Khan and his staff in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of dental conditions. Digital imaging is essentially the next generation of x-ray.
