Internal Medicine Clinic of Tangipahoa was founded in 1981 to serve the citizens of Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish. The clinic has grown with the addition of physicians and services over the last 30 years and has expanded into a multi-specialty group including nine physicians, two nurse practitioners, and a wide range of support personnel who provide a wide range of services -including lab, x-rays, ultrasound, specialized cardiac and pulmonary evaluations-- all in our single location.
The practice occupies a new, modern, state-of-the-art, 23,000 square foot building in Hammond, Louisiana.We pride ourselves in providing a friendly atmosphere and are committed to state of the art quality healthcare. Dr. Caulfield was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He obtained his B.S. in 1974 from Louisiana State University. He obtained his M.D. degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1977. He completed his internship and residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in 1980 and was also board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1981.
