Services
Bower was designed on the premise that people want-and need-a connection to nature. It's private residences and shared spaces are comfortable and lush. Indoor flora, vibrant colors and earthy textures bring the outside in, and with a deep focus on sustainability and technology, daylight and views are a constant.
Bower features studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston. Each residence is human- and pet-friendly, with materials and fixtures that support our lives and are healthy for the planet. Bower utilizes smart glass technology that automatically tints in response to outside light levels, eliminating the need for window treatments and maintaining a connection to the outdoors.
Nestled throughout the building are rooms for lounging, entertaining, working and meditating. An indoor atrium with abundant landscape re-energizes, while in many spaces, daylight pours in from skylights above. A rooftop terrace celebrates warm weather and baseball season with a pool, sun deck and views that offer a sneak peek into Fenway Park.

I've been here for a year and I'm never going back to living in an unmanaged building!! Just no, I can't go back! I'm really busy with work and life (like everyone else) and Bower just makes it easier to live. They take the guess work out of home/life management. The people in the office are on top of their stuff, and I rarely have a reason to go there because I don't have problems like that. My online shopping habit even works because of how they keep the packages and give you notifications of the deliveries. The gym has beginner friendly classes too like barre and strength conditioning (pray

There is very little sense of community here that justifies living here for the cost and location. Other buildings in the area have free breakfasts, drinks, coffee, sponsored events nearly every week, whereas the people who work here are really trying to nickel and dime you. For instance, they recently organized a shoe recycling donation program without telling residents that they profit $7 or so off of each donated pair of shoes. Where are these funds going toward? Almost certainly not us.
Beyond that, the gym is fairly small. Construction on Beacon Street (which is supposed to last >2 years

This building is the definition of "lipstick on a pig." Do not live here. Consider Harlo, Pierce, Van Ness in the area or Sudbury/Avalon if flexible on location. Everything looks theoretically nice because of cheap finishings they've tacked on but even the maintenance staff agrees that appliances are chosen to look chic when in reality they're mid-line European brands and perform suboptimally. Dryers do not actually dry your clothes. Towel racks are constantly falling down. The toilets and showers have poor water pressure but are "eco-friendly." The thermostat looks flashy but doesn't work or regulate

Really enjoy my first week here at bowers! Looking forward to spend my semester here with our cat while enjoying the short distance to BU to take courses :))

Management makes it difficult to live here. Lots of potential with location, amenities etc but lack of building access (only one additional key fob allowed and the concierge is rarely at desk to let anyone in), nonfunctional amenities (rooftop grills, fire pits don’t work and roof access severely restricted), and poor communication (no advance notice of the construction that started right outside, which goes starting 2am and removed all drop off access from the building which prevents a lot of package deliveries etc) make this place a hard place to be. If you are going to pay this much, would

I love my building!
Only problem is some issues with the deliveries sometime.
Also,
The concierge is sometimes too intrusive or just not their.
And,
I despise the rule of 11 pm because we thought we had 24hr amenities, that was one of the major reasons to stay at Bower. It’s so disheartening that mistakes of few have accosted a full well-behaved and deserved community.

A good friend of mine moved into the Bower, I visited her twice. There are several lounges for communal use. As well as a kitchen on the top floor with a view of the city. In addition, on the rooftop had several lounges with music, fire pit, grill and TV's. The pool which is also on the roof is a highlight. We often went to a large lounge to watch baseball and had a good time. The rent I found relatively high, but I think it always depends on how much you want to spend on living expenses. Anyway, it is very safe with its own concierge and they have made a lot of effort to build and maintain it

This review is based on my experience trying to lease a unit at this property. I went through a leasing agent associated with 617Living which acts as a rental agent for this property. The agent who gave me a tour failed to mention that the landlord requires any prospective tenant to satisfy either of the following two income criterion:
a) 3x the monthly rent in monthly income confirmed through pay stub copies.
b) 3x the annual rent in bank balance statements.
In other words, if a unit is priced at $3,000 a month market rent before any promotions are offered, your income must be at least:

It took me a long time to decide to move to Bower. Because most of Greystar's apartments had bad reviews from people, so my husband didn't want to choose Bower as our home. There were many bad reviews that the Property Office staff and the Maintenance team did not handle the work on time and did not do it properly.
From my experience, it is not true, at least at Bower.
We have a really good maintenance team. This is a brand new apartmemmt. New constructed apartments usually have some problems at the beginning. There are still some issues in my apartment as well, however, Eric is doing his best

Moving to Bower was a great decision. The staff is incredibly nice! The concierge, leasing office, and maintenance team are always available when needed for questions or help. The building is kept in great condition and very well maintained every day. The location and rooftop views are also one of the best things of Bower!
