Since the young age of 5 years old, Dr. Mary Andrews knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up on a small farm in Anderson, SC with cows and goats, she realized her goal in life was to care for animals. When she wasn't on the farm or at school, she could be found at the barn riding horses. She graduated from the College of Charleston and went on to Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!) for veterinary school.
Dr. Andrews called San Antonio, TX home for a year while completing a rotating internship with a strong interest in Critical Care. She also spent time working the the Emergency and Critical Care department at Louisiana State University. Dr. Andrews married her husband in the summer and they moved back to the Charleston area.

AMC Angel Fund: our 501c3
Report
We are very proud to announce that Animal Medical Clinic has created a charitable fund to offer grants to clients who need financial assistance to provide life saving care for their pet. All too often, even the best pet owners can find themselves financially unprepared to do what is needed to save their pet, and facing a heart wrenching decision if they can't afford treatment.
Testimonials
Report
The Semb family is a blend of 5 cats (Abby, Alex, Emma, Sam and Savannah) and 2 human parents and we LOVE Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek! All 5 cats are rescues, however, they are treated like royalty at AMC. We first spoke with Rebecca by phone when we moved to town a few years back and she answered all of our questions about their facility and services.
Pet Health
Report
Your pet's health care begins with regular wellness checkups with a veterinarian. At The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek, we recommend that all pets receive a complete physical examination at least once a year or every six months for seniors. A wellness exam goes a long way toward prevention of diseases, fleas and ticks, parasites such as heartworm, hookworm, roundworm and other treatable illnesses and conditions.
Dentistry
Report
Dental hygiene is an important part of your pet's health, and poor hygiene can be the cause of serious illness. If not treated properly, dental problems such as gingivitis and periodontal disease can often lead to serious systemic problems in your pet due to oral bacteria entering the bloodstream and stressing vital organs.
