After working in the insurance sector for 20 years, Founder, Stom Peterson decided to open his own agency in 2001. Originally located in Mars Hill, NC, Peterson Insurance Group is dedicated to great service and loyalty to his customers. After relocating to Weaverville in 2002, Stom brought his daughter, Eirene Peterson Burnette, on board to provide better efficiency in servicing their customer's accounts.

When our office is closed, we recommend you contact the insurance provider directly if a change needs to be made over the weekend. If you need to make changes Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 AM - 5 PM please contact us directly at 828-645-8777.
