Our covers are handcrafted in-house. For over 70 years, H.V. Chapman & Sons has worked to chronicle the stories of our area. We make it our business to preserve memories from local and regional history, genealogies, book restoration, and yearbooks. We also provide digital and offset printing as well as promotional products.

Three generations of the Chapman family operated the bookbindery for 65 years. H.V. "Homer" Chapman, Sr., learned bookbinding in Dallas, where he also was a paper warehouse manager. In 1925, Homer began managing the bookbinding department of Abilene Printing and Stationery. He later struck a deal with the company to buy out his bookbinding operations.
