Services
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy programs combine manual techniques with movement education to address musculoskeletal conditions. We treat acute injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation through individualized sessions focusing on restoring mobility and preventing future issues. Each plan integrates evidence-based practices with patient-specific goals for optimal functional recovery.
PEMF Therapy
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy stimulates cellular repair through targeted magnetic energy. This non-invasive treatment reduces inflammation, accelerates healing, and improves circulation when used alongside traditional physical therapy. Sessions utilize FDA-registered devices calibrated to specific frequencies that support tissue regeneration and pain management.
Dry Needling
Certified practitioners perform trigger point dry needling to relieve muscle tension and improve range of motion. This technique targets hyperirritable muscle knots causing pain and dysfunction, often producing immediate symptom relief when combined with movement retraining and strengthening exercises.
Sports Rehabilitation
Specialized programs help athletes recover from sports-related injuries while maintaining fitness levels. Treatment incorporates sport-specific movement patterns, performance optimization strategies, and injury prevention education tailored to each athletes competitive demands and recovery timeline.
Postural Restoration
We address postural imbalances through neuromuscular re-education and biomechanical correction. This approach combines manual therapy with targeted exercise programs to restore natural movement patterns, reduce compensatory patterns, and improve overall functional capacity.

Have already recommended my girlfriend and another friend to Dr. Sargent. If you have issues that dont respond to standard PT shes the best resource I know. She was the first one to do more than a 15min assessment on me. I will continue to send people her way.

I had lower back problems off and on for years and had been to PT a couple of times previously, without any lasting results. Julie took the time to really listen to me and design a plan that was personalized for me. She was genuinely concerned and was available via text and email to answer questions. My back is much better now, and I would absolutely go to Sergent Wellness again for any other issue. Highly recommended.

Working with Julie was great. Had issues related to feet and knees from previous injuries and over several weeks - developed exercises and therapeutic techniques to resolve them. Feel much more steady and more mindful of the mind/body connection. I highly recommend it and sticking through with the therapy and PT portion.

Julie is kind, caring, and has helped me so much in ways that other physical therapist have not. After having a baby and breastfeeding, I was struggling with neck, shoulder and upper back pain and she not only alleviated most of my pain, but gave me the tools to continue to strengthen muscles that I had not been using properly. Her staff is equally wonderful. Scheduling is easy as well. I cannot thank her enough for helping me feel better as a busy working mom.

Sergent Wellness is the place to go for all your physical therapy needs. Some places will provide therapeutic intervention to help with injuries and maybe provide some homework to help with the healing process. Julie goes beyond all this as she also provided me with the knowledge to help prevent future injuries from occurring as well as insights that go beyond form and bio mechanics necessary to live an active and healthy life. Julie has not only helped me accomplish my goals, she has taught me how to prevent injuries. Treating an injury is only a small part of what Julie did for me. She has taught
