The company was founded in 1991 by Pete, the oldest son of our family. The company was known at the time as ''Pete's Pressure Washing''. The father, John, joined up with Pete in 1993 and the company started specilizing in Deck Refinishing and Restoration. In 1996, the youngest son Mynor, joined the company and Mike, (Mynor's classmate) came aboard in 1998.
Over the years the refinishing process has become much more sophisticated with the advent of all new deck cleaners, sanding equipment, deck preservatives and types of decking materials such as composite and brazilian hardwoods like IPE. Unprotected wood can be seriously damaged by the wet Northwest climate.

This 15+ year old deck is located in Mill Creek, Washington. The first photo shows that the deck has a peeling problem and there are multiple layers of old oil and latex based paint. The deck was treated first with a mildewcide and then all the old paint was removed by sanding. A honey toned finish was applied to the benches and a semitransparent stain to the deck to match the house body color.
