Services
Preventative Dentistry
Regular dental examinations every six months help maintain optimal oral health for children. Our preventive care includes professional cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to protect developing teeth. Early detection of potential issues ensures timely interventions that can prevent more complex problems later.
Restorative Dentistry
Safe and effective treatment for dental decay in children's teeth. We use child-friendly techniques for fillings and repairs, with options for sedation to ensure comfort. Our approach focuses on preserving natural tooth structure while maintaining a positive dental experience.
Kid-Friendly Sedation Options
Certified sedation methods including nitrous oxide for children needing anxiety relief during dental procedures. Our team includes specialized anesthesiologists who ensure safe administration while maintaining open communication with parents throughout treatment.
Emergency Dental Care
Immediate treatment for dental injuries and acute oral pain outside regular appointments. We handle toothaches, fractured teeth, and knocked-out permanent teeth with protocols emphasizing rapid response and preservation of dental structures.
Orthodontic Evaluation
Early assessment of teeth alignment and jaw development for children age seven and older. Our evaluations determine optimal timing for orthodontic treatment, providing foundational guidance for future dental development and bite correction.

Do you accept dental insurance and Medicaid patients?
We accept most dental insurance plans including Kentucky Medicaid and KCHIP, working with families to maximize insurance benefits for covered procedures.

Treat the appointment like a fun outing, arrive with completed paperwork, and maintain positive expectations to help children associate dental visits with positive experiences.

I don't know how she did it, but Dr Wheeler was able to give my little son, who is terrified of me just putting floss in his mouth, a crown and 2 fillings. He came home so proud of himself. Dr Wheeler got him out of pain and on his way back to playing with zero tears. I am so grateful that my sister recommended this dental office.
