My chinchilla was experiencing eye irritation, and I wanted to see a vet as soon as possible. I literally called over 20 vets in the bay area to see if they had any appointments available and if they treated chinnies (not all vets treat chinnies). None could see me until the end of the week or next month! Except Village Square Vet Hospital. The lovely lady who answered my call said she would ask her vet if there was anything they could do to see Lumi, my chinnie. I was so stressed and worried for my pet, and thankfully she called me back, and they were able to squeeze me in for a next day appointment

We have taken our cat to both places and had great experiences at each one. Recently my cat has been ill and we went to the Portola valley location. They were able to get us in quickly because my cat wasn't eating. Due to covid we had to drop our cat off but the Vet called several times and explained very clearly what they thought was wrong and what treatments were suggested. Overall, we were very comfortable with the whole experience and will definitely be going back in the future.

I like the the doctors and staff here but the shopping center is not well maintained and dirty. Very unusual for such an affluent neighborhood.
