While living in Colorado Springs, Evert attended CSATM (Colorado Springs Academy of Therapeutic Massage). A state accredited, 1100 hour program owned and run by Dr. Solie, a chiropractor who believed in training therapists to specialize in not only traditional therapeutic massage modalities but to focus on medical massage, soft tissue manipulation and Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy.
He graduated from CSATM in 1998 as not only a licensed massage therapist but also a certified neuromuscular trigger point therapist. In the years following, he had a private practice as well as taught deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy at Sister Rosalind's school of massage in Fargo. In 2003, their family made a decision to move back to Colorado where they spent time involved on another family business venture.
