La Casa Preschool partners with families in providing a Christian and academic foundation that cultivates, transforms and prepares children for long-term school success. Our North Scottsdale preschool weaves play based learning, STEAM curriculum and Christian education into our daily curriculum to create a loving learning environment and prepare your child for kindergarten.
Our overall goal is to encourage the growth of the whole child through learning opportunities in each area of development: social, emotional, physical, and cognitive, and to cultivate this development in an environment where each child is respected as an individual of worth. La Casa Preschool is a play based preschool meaning that we believe that children learn through guided play, exploration, experimentation, discovery, and problem solving.

Play Based Learning
Report
Play is an important part of children's learning and development. At La Casa Preschool, we believe that children learn through guided play, exploration, experimentation, discovery, and problem solving. PLAY is fundamental to a child's learning. Our play-based program at La Casa Preschool allows our students to explore concepts and see the world in a way that is meaningful to them.
Christian Education
Report
As teachers and staff, we feel very strongly that it is our right, our privilege, and our obligation to teach the children here at the preschool about God. Our Christian preschool curriculum is centered around God's love. These words are reflected as a mission statement in the La Casa Preschool Staff Handbook, our Parent Handbook, on our website, in our Brochure, and virtually everywhere we want our message to reach.

Report
La Casa Preschool is a play based preschool meaning that we believe that children learn through guided play, exploration, experimentation, discovery, and problem solving. Much like this recent AAP study, we believe that most powerful way children learn isn't only in classrooms or libraries, but rather on playgrounds and in playrooms.
Age 3 - Mini and Essential
Report
Designed for students 2 1/2 - 3 years old, these programs reflect our philosophy that as a child enters school for the first important year, there are many developmental areas in which they grow. Most especially, these young learners will be growing emotionally and socially in ways that will be essential to their long term success and enjoyment of school.
