FIT Physical Therapy is committed to treating each and every patient with genuine compassion and focused commitment. All patients can be screened or evaluated by a physical therapist without a physician referral. However, we always promote a coordinated team approach to treatment planning, working with your physician or specialist to optimize results.
Laura Jackson, MPT
Report
Laura comes to our practice with 13 years of clinical experience and degrees from Meredith College and Elon University. Laura has gained experience in a variety of settings including outpatient private practice, acute care, rehab, assisted living, and the NC school system. She is specially trained to perform functional capacity evaluations and is a credentialed clinical instructor.
Jason Bottoms, DPT

Jason grew up in Western North Carolina and attended UNC for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from UNC's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2020. Since then he has worked at a sport medicine physical therapy practice in Chapel Hill and at a retirement community in Raleigh. Jason is interested in working with patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions with a special interest in sports medicine and manual therapy.
Roberta Friskney

Roberta graduated in 2007 from Alamance Community College with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and worked for The Carolina Inn for 5+ years as Assistant Pastry Chef. Needing a change of pace, she was very interested in healthcare and started at FIT in 2012. Roberta is our billing specialist and will help you in anyway she can!
