David I. Helfer Jewelers opened in 1936 when Pittsburgh was bustling steel town of wealth and commerce. The Clark Building was Pittsburgh's Diamond District where over 100 jewelers sold their products. The Clark Building now houses 3 floors of retail jewelers, wholesale dealers, and jewelry studios like ours.

David I. Helfer Jewelers is a third-generation jewelry shop in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. It is owned by Ira P. Helfer, who has been in charge of the family operation since 2012, but co-owned the business since 1978 with his father Jack Helfer. Jack became the owner of the business after David I. Helfer passed away in 1961.

We make rings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, cuffs, ankle bracelets, beads and charms, body jewelry, and anything else!
