While Peter J. Butzerin took over the business from Larry J. Richter (Richter & Associates) in 2014, we have been here in West Seattle since 1982.

Peter is fantastic. My husband and I asked him to review our draft tax filing, which had been completed by another firm. Peter generously spent an hour going through our documents and found several errors that would have resulted in a potential tax overpayment. Peter helped us sort out a Roth IRA excess contribution that complicated our income tax filing this year. He looked over our this section of our tax forms thoroughly and gave clear steps we could follow to correct the situation and report it properly to the IRS. Death and taxes... everyone needs to file their taxes and if you live in west seattle, give Butzerin a go. Service was fast and accurate and he saved us money and didn't try to press any shady maybe legal loopholes on us. He even found an issue with our previous year's taxes - filed by someone else - that will mean a serious refund. We are of course having him re-file for that year. Additionally, the cost of preparation was WELL worth the service and peace of mind. We could not be happier.
