Playground Jiu Jitsu

PlayGround is a premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy located in East Providence, RI. Founded by Black Belt brothers Paulo and Vinicius Canabarro with the mission to introduce Jiu Jitsu lifestyle to our community. Here at PlayGround our focus is 100% in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and we believe we can make a difference in the world thru the art.

Our Kids Program focuses on teaching kids ages 4 - 12 the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu. Our class teaches discipline, leadership, respect, and confidence through Jiu Jitsu. We believe all children should be taught how to defend themselves and we look forward to speaking with you on how we can teach and mentor your children.

We offer one on one privates as well as group privates up to 4 students. Private classes are done with our Black Belt instructors and it's catered to your goals. Wether you want to make it a physical challenge or just work specific techniques, we will discuss a plan and follow up with it as a class.

Join us for an introductory 4 FREE Classes. This will give you a chance to meet our instructors and students, check out our academy and our classes. We offer a discounted membership for law enforcement, first responders, and full time students. Our drop in fee is $20 a class. If you're a member of local gyms such as (Tim Burrill Affiliation, Mat Santos, Triforce) the drop in is only $10.
