We are proud to offer goop-free, full digital impressions with the new state of the art iTero ElementTM Scanner. Digital impression are more comfortable and also much more accurate. The scanner takes an incredibly detailed impression of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is complete, we will then have a 3D model of your mouth that can be used for diagnosis and treatment planning.

The patient will have a thorough clinical evaluation. Dr. Karpov will determine if he or she will benefit from and is ready to start an orthodontic treatment. Recommendations on what type of appliances and approximate length of treatment will be made at this time. The patient will be scheduled for his or her second appointment, for establishing orthodontic records.

Placing orthodontic appliances on the teeth is not a painful procedure. At the end of the appointment, you will feel like you have foreign objects in your mouth, and you will probably find it hard to believe that you will ever become accustomed to the braces. Believe it or not, by the end of the week, it will feel as if the braces are part of your teeth.
