While living at the deacon there have been a long list of problems. The first problem would be that the staff is not trained, not polite, not willing help in any situation, and quite frankly rude. The staff will do anything to get you to renew your lease and then once you have, you are treated like you do not exist. The second problem would be that the parking garage is not secure. In the handbook it states that there will be a gate and security cameras that work. There is neither one of these. The deacon has at least 2 car break ins a night and what do they do to help? The answer is nothing. They

I currently reside in the Deacon. Upon moving in my washer and dryer was broken. I was without a washer and dryer for a week because it was “not an urgent issue”. I also had pool chairs that were stacked up along my window blocking my view that I was promised would be removed immediately and was not removed until October after I had to complain over and over. There was also an incident where my
roommates door was locked and could not open so the maintenance had to break the door to get in then they tried to make her pay for it. We told them that would not be happening because it was not us

The office lacks organization overall, I’ve gotten packages at least several hours to days Late after they have been delivered by shipping company. they are never logged on time. Packages have been lost and even they’ve claimed to have returned to sender but I’ve never got any other updates on it. I would not recommend sending packages here and why live here if you can’t get a simple package 🤷‍♂️

This place is amazing! I love the private bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is super nice and spacious. The staff are wonderful people who are very patient. The fire alarms are not an issue for my apartment. Occasionally, you will hear a distant fire alarm from a different apartment but it is barely noticeable. I have only lived here for a few months and have not yet ran into a major maintenance problem.

I would only suggest living here if you want to fear daily that your car will get broken into or stolen without any actions taken by the staff afterwards to prevent these things from happening. After walking in the parking garage and seeing over 10 cars broken into only to discover my car was one of them as well, I went to speak to someone at the front desk who basically told me to screw off it’s not their problem. It would be one thing if this happened once, but it literally happened to my roommates multiple times prior. This is just ridiculous. Not even to mention the lack of service there

DO NOT LIVE HERE. The staff is the worst run management I have ever had to deal with. Two managers 1-Morgan Klepper and 2-Andre the head manager (her kids live with her by the way) will cause you the worst headache ever. They do not care about any issue and will not try to help you out at all. Over New Years last year my clothes were stuck in the washer for 4 days. The deacon number goes inactivated once it’s past regular office hours and you call some head organization that is not even affiliated with the deacon. Andre went on to say that the washer was “user error” meanwhile no one would

After two years at the Deacon, I would absolutely not recommend this living situation to ANYONE. The staff are unprofessional, inexperienced, and downright rude except for a few. They are manipulating and deceitful - promising everything they can until you sign the lease and then they treat you as if you’re dirt. Living here was so stressful and miserable I spent all the time I could living at home and commuting over two hours to class/work or staying at a friend’s house just so I would not have to sleep in the building. There are lots of neat, and nice things that the property has to offer

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. Overall average but overpriced place to live. They have a faulty garage pass scan that doesn't work half the time and keeps you from getting in or out for a few minutes. They also did not transfer my utilities costs over to my sublet and when I called to have them help me fix this they said it was not their responsibility. They will work their hardest to get you and your friends to renew your lease and pester you about it, yet they won't care about you at all while you live there. Thanks to them I am out around $100 or more because of their utilities

Two of our sons are living here in separate apartments. Our experience with both has been great. Their apartments are spacious and the amenities are incredible. We have been extremely pleased & their staff continues to be very helpful.

BE PREPARED FOR $200+ EXTRA EACH MONTH (per person) FOR ELECTRIC BILLS. Read everything and ask to see your room before you sign. When I signed my lease I was told I would be on the 10th floor and even have the conformation email to prove it, but on arrival for move in day our room number had magically changed, I didn't think anything of it until I saw my room. It was completely trashed with no working dryer, pee and blood stains through the the room, holes in the wall, major water damage on the ceilings, along with every single wall in the apartment looked like someone had rubbed greasy hands

They make up complaints to force you to pay a fine. We know everyone who lives near us and none of them have ever heard us and have never made a complain; yet, we have been fined $500 this semester for "noise complains."

NOT COVID FRIENDLY. Not a single person wears a mask in the hallway or gym, making the gym unusable because there is often 5-10 people in a small room with no mask. They also claim they have special cleaning services but they have only come twice this whole year.

I was very excited to live in the Deacon, I signed in December of last year to ensure I would get a spot. On move-in day, the management was completely unorganized. They assigned certain floors to certain elevators, but 10 minutes in 2 of the elevators stopped working and did not work the rest of the day. I had to park on the 9th floor of the parking garage to get all my stuff up to the 11th floor. The hallways are always extremely dirty, as well as the elevator. There is lipstick drawn on the wall in the hallway that has been there and not cleaned up since August. I'm pretty sure they

Beware! Showed up to move in and found my apartment filthy with several appliances broken. It took forever to get management's attention to get things cleaned and fixed. Once you sign on the dotted line they no longer care about anything except getting the monthly rent check.

What a crappy place to live everything is I unfinished in the entire apartment complex there are piss stains from dogs I assume all ove the floors in the hallways and this place is only 2 years old NOT EVEN managment is completely useless we were suppp to move into a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom unlived apartment with a balcony. We had been waiting on this for about 9 months when we finally moved in they put us in a room without a balcony and they was definitely lived in with holes in the walls and many unfinished parts! If I could give no stars I would, they put my friends through absolute hell. They thought it was okay to put them into an unfinished room with leaky exposed pipes and nails and ripped walls. There was also a BIRDS NEST in their air duct. Management was completely useless, only caused everyone more stress and confusion. You can also tell how cheaply this place is made, the main areas are nice for show but the walls are all scratched and everything looks like it's dirty.

Words cannot describe how absolutely frustrating these past few days have been. To preface, we signed our lease in DECEMBER for a three bedroom apartment at the Deacon. We were assigned to apartment number 1033 but two weeks before we moved in we were notified that we had been moved to 633. We didn't think much of it. When we arrived and started moving things in we were surprised at how it looked but we didn't take much time to actually look around since it was such a chaotic day. Then, we noticed nails coming out of the ceiling, weird stains, writing on the walls and on the plumbing

I've never signed a lease to a building under construction, but this won't happen again. I met with the leasing staff, gathering every tidbit of information possible. We finally took a hardhat tour in July, but my dad, who worked in construction as a young adult, did not think they would complete The Deacon in time.

Sadly, he was right. Trinitas Ventures is the company responsible for The Deacon. Upon move in day, the parking garage was littered with glass, nails, garbage, and construction debris on every floor. The backdoor by University Ct had a missing glass panel, meaning anyone

This place is the Fyre Festival of Cincinnati Ohio.

At first, I was excited about the Deacon. I felt that although it wasn't finished--it had the potential to grow into a nice community with nice facilities. After living there for a semester, I learned that my fire alarms on the 12th floor do not respond to anything but my own room. Next, I went home for a couple of weeks and got constant emails about break-ins. It looks like someone sprayed drywall everywhere. Now, I am trying to transfer my lease to a friend during Coronavirus who is struggling to find living--and the communication has

The room and the amenities are really nice but the building was rushed, everything is really cheaply made and the doors are super flimsy. The fire alarms went off twice a week for the entire first semester and when there was an actual fire in the building no one left because they were never real and they went off routinely. There's been break-ins and a lack of security and cameras. So happy to be moving out, I've had to call maintenance 15 times, currently waiting on them because I have no internet.

My friend's place, along with the apartment rooms of 8 other tenants, were broken into this past Saturday. The culprits were seen on camera entering and leaving the building, with big bags full of items. This was not an issue of these 9 tenants leaving their doors unlocked; the actual doors were kicked down, and door handles were ripped from the doors themselves. How in the world an apartment complex can claim that it's tenants are safe, when 9 of its apartments had items stolen in the course of an hour, is beyond me. My friend lost $800+ worth of electronics, school supplies and other

It is a nice complex but for the price the rooms are small. Also the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night multiple nights a week and always wake everyone up. It is completely ridiculous and the leasing office does nothing about it after complaints! Once it went off 4 times in a day!! I would not recommend paying the money to live here to anyone.
