Your Trusted Partner for Healthcare Services in Houston, TX
For over six decades, CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare has dedicated itself to addressing the healthcare needs of underserved communities in the Houston-Galveston region. Established in 1966 as St. Joseph's Foundation, our organization evolved to focus on providing primary healthcare and related services to the uninsured and underserved after transitioning from hospital management in 2005. Our programsincluding mobile clinics, school health services, and community medical centersreflect our commitment to compassionate care regardless of patients' financial circumstances. Rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and the legacy of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, we collaborate with faith-based partners like Catholic Charities and San Jos Clinic to deliver integrated medical, dental, and social services. Our Moran Health Center serves as a centralized hub for comprehensive care, offering primary medicine, mental health counseling, and literacy programs.

Through annual fundraising events and donor support, we have raised over $100 million to sustain these critical services. Our team of medical professionals and volunteers extends care through mobile units that reach impoverished neighborhoods, ensuring accessibility for those with limited resources. We maintain transparent operations through professional financial stewardship and regular donor communication. Our leadership comprises experienced healthcare and philanthropy professionals committed to expanding healthcare equity. By combining historical expertise with modern outreach strategies, we continue to address evolving community health challenges while upholding our founding mission of service without discrimination.

What a wonderful experience! Went for first Covid-19 vaccine (Moderna). Superior care, helpful and quick. I accompanied a 90 year-old priest. Bravo!
