In 1993, I asked my dad to buy me a film SLR camera for a photography class I was taking; it ignited a passion. Over the years I amassed dozens of photo albums but only felt that photography was a hobby and not something I could do full time, until 2011 when I found out that I was being excessed (laid off) from my teaching position.
I turned to my husband and told him that what I really wanted to do was become a family and children photographer, so I upgraded my equipment and took a HUGE leap of faith into photography. I decided to follow my dream and do what truly makes me happy and I haven't looked back! Working with children has been something that comes naturally to me, so it was a no-brainer to specialize in children and family photography.

I will tell you that my style of photography does result in a wide variety of images and it does make it hard to choose your images. In all my sessions I seek to create a unique experience and capture your love and connection.
