Payne Anthony Jewelers began its life in Trolley Square as Charles Anthony Jewelers back in 1972. What began as a small father and son store with very little inventory has grown into to one of the finest independent jewelry stores in the State of Utah. Mr. Payne owned the store for a short time in the late 70's and changed the name to Payne Anthony Jewelers.

I’m not sure the name of the man that helped me, but he very kindly and patiently checked my family jewelry to tell me if it was real or not. Once we found out that it was fake he talked to be about making custom pieces and about different stones and said that while the stones were fake, we could use the gold to trade for something new. He was very personable and although I was probably not the best dressed and I’d had surgery on my hand the day before, he still was friendly and kind and happy to help. I can't recommend this shop enough even if just for the wide variety of jewelry available. My now fiancé and I had been ring shopping for about a year and hadn't found the perfect ring. I absolutely love this jeweler. They have the most unique selection. They have great pricing because they have everything from a few hundred up to tens of thousands. I'm a guy so jewelery is usually boring but I enjoy coming in to just browse. Got my wife's engagement ring here. We both couldn't get our minds off if it. In a few months we come back for my ring 😁

Excellent service! Ask for Jeff. He has been in the jewelry business for over 20 years. We were just walking around trolley square with no plans to go to a jewelry store. We entered just for fun and we left with a great experience. He definitely knows his stuff and takes the time to work with you and figure out what is best. My husband really wanted to use Payne Anthony to purchase our wedding rings. We went in several times and always received very helpful and kind customer service. My husband was very particular about what kind of ring he wanted to buy for me - he wanted a custom ring that had a lot of symbolism in it.
