The Lancaster Vet Clinic provides both large animal and small animal veterinary services. Located in the Arrowridge business park in Lancaster, Wisconsin, we are also the home for the Grant County Humane Society. As a mixed animal practice, our staff of veterinarians and technicians is committed to the health of your livestock and pets.

Whether your farming operation is focused on beef production, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, or swine, we can take care of your herd health needs. Call us for regular health checks for your saddle or harness horses. Pets are an integral part of our lives, so we schedule regular dog and cat vaccination and health care clinics.

Dr. Cari Schaffer graduated from Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and has practiced at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic since then. She is now part owner of the practice. Cari enjoys the area of science of medicine and how she can make animals feel better with surgery and medicine.
Beef & Feedlot

Beef producers in the Lancaster WI area call on the Lancaster Vet Clinic for their veterinary services. When it is time to wean calves and get chute work done, our veterinarians are here to work with you and your herd. We can ultrasound and pregnancy detect as early as 30 days of gestation in cows and 29 days in heifers.

We understand the large investment you have made in your dairy cattle and farm, and we will work with you to keep your livestock in good health.

Our veterinarians will work with you to maintain the health of your sheep. Ewes need special care during lambing season, and we will help get that new crop of lambs off to a great start. Market lambs need a consistent rate of gain for quality meat production. Breeding age rams and ewes need to be in good health to insure reproduction capabilities.

Horses and ponies require regular veterinary care. Whether you have saddle horses or horses in harness, our veterinarians understand the specific health issues of your animals. The Lancaster Vet Clinic can provide the vaccinations and periodic dental examinations horses and ponies need. We will work with the owners to keep the animals in excellent physical condition.
