Right down the beach from your Akumal accommodations at Del Sol you will find excellent Caribbean, Mexican and international cuisine at La Buena Vida Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant is open for breakfast from December to June, and for lunch and dinner year round, seven days a week. The bar is a vibrant and popular hang-out with friendly staff, sandy floor, swinging bar stools, a crow's nest and laid back, unique tropical atmosphere.

The town of Akumal is located on the Eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. It is on Eastern Standard Time, but does not observe daylight savings. It is located about 60 miles south of Cancun, which is easily accessible from the US via several major airlines, including American, Southwest, United, and Frontier.
