In 1909, Grove Ross Branch and his wife, Elizabeth Garrabrandt Branch, purchased "The Point" (also known as Wall Point on Linekin Bay, just east of Boothbay Harbor, Maine) from Judge Kenniston, which is the site of Linekin Bay Resort today.
