The first step is examining how you move and determining issues that cause pain or less optimal function. Most often these will be due to mechanical restrictions such as a muscle or fascia that is not allowing movement or joint that is too stiff or a nerve that doesn't glide properly.

After the mechanical restrictions are resolved through mobilization techniques and the area is able to move passively, you will learn how to actively make your system move in a new and correct way so that you can move easily and freely.Physical injuries involve mechanical dysfunction of one kind or another, however they often bring along emotional difficulties in the form of worries or stress, that also need to be addressed effectively.
