Activities include both instructional and recreational swimming (heated pools), horseback riding, ball sports, ga-ga, arts and crafts, music, dance, playgrounds, field hockey, soccer, gardening and nature, as well as indoor activities (computers, games, science) in our air conditioned building. Themed weeks of "Spirit Weeks" provide character building and cooperative play as children participate in games and activities to accumulate points and teamwork.Special Days occur throughout the summer.

Alternating Days at Elementary School: offering 2,3,4 or 5 days a week for children who attend Elementary School that is not 5 days per week or not every week. Online learning support will exist from a Rainbow Academy teacher. Students will also experience the outside grounds of Rainbow Academy through out the year.

The Kindergarten Program at Rainbow Academy is designed to provide young children with activities in language, mathematics, creative arts, science, social studies, social living, fine and gross motor areas. Children have opportunities for reading and writing, asking questions, seeking answers, and critical thinking in a full day kindergarten and/or half day kindergarten.

Rainbow Academy's summer day camp provides an exhilarating recreational program for children through 12 years of age! Our camp for the "little ones" is sprinkled with activities filled with fun! Swimming in a wading pool with a fountain and toys, a playground created just for toddlers, and inside learning centers with the best in early childhood education are delightful!

Owners: Linda and Mario LaGrotte obtained a "dream" location to live, raise a family and open a school (just across the driveway) in the summer of 1980. Carousel Farm's Educational Center began as a summer program serving the educational and recreational needs of children with developmental disabilities.
