Our Studio

NBalance is one of only three yoga studios in the Middle Tennessee area that is equipped with a therapeutic infrared heating system. This state-of-the-art system utilizes radiant heating panels that provide a comfortable environment by warming objects in the room instead of the room itself. This minimizes the intense, often uncomfortable, sensation experienced when entering a hot yoga studio that utilizes convection, or forced-air heat.

Make sure that you hydrate well throughout the day. Eat light, and try to avoid a heavy meal at least 2 hours before class to allow ample time for the body to digest prior to class. You should wear something that is comfortable, that allows you to move easily, and that is breathable because you will sweat.
Yoga

This is our sequence of Hatha yoga asanas, or postures, which provides a comprehensive workout that engages the body and the mind. Each asana is held statically, ranging from 30 seconds to 1 minute, which not only develops strength and increases range of motion but also allows time to focus on the breath and proper alignment.
Fitness

This is a small group training session that combines resistance training with cardio drills in various program design to provide a metabolic conditioning effect. Simple, effective, functional equipment is used including body-weight, kettlebells, medicine balls, dumbbells, resistance bands, and TRX suspension trainers.

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in learning about subtle energy, pranayama, and their applications in a yoga practice. The modules can be taken individually or all together, and the training hours can be applied towards our 200 hour yoga teacher training (25 total hours for the entire workshop).
