I am beginning my 14th year of practice as a licensed massage therapist in the Burien/White Center area, supporting clients from Des Moines to West Seattle and beyond. While I do incorporate various modalities (Shiatsu, Thai, Trigger Point Therapy) into each personalized treatment, my specialty is Deep Tissue massage. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature and Languages from Bennington College (1988). In my free time, I enjoy hiking, mountaineering, swinging kettlebells, gardening and cooking.

Massage is the art and practice of providing relief to tight muscles, blood flow to under-used tissues and the reduction of stress so that all of the body systems work in concert and more efficiently. My goal in working with each client is to determine their needs, chart a course for better health and wellness, and provide outstanding service to achieve that goal.

Cash and personal checks for full treatment or insurance co-pays are accepted at this time. For those of you with HSA or standard credit cards, I can also accept payment through Paypal. Most insurance plans now require a prescription for massage therapy services. The prescription should include the start date, the number of suggested treatments and the diagnosis code (ICD-10 Code).

If you are a current client, you have the additional option to text me at that number with dates and times which are convenient for you. As I am a body worker, and therefore seldom at the computer, reaching me by e-mail usually takes much longer for you to receive a response.
