Christa's passion for counseling began in 2004, when she began working as a professional mentor. She assisted college-age women with developing life skills and personal growth but wanted to do more to reach the deeper emotional needs she saw in others. Christa went on to earn her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.
Christa worked as the Head Counselor at Agape House, a therapeutic boarding school for at-risk teens. Christa has also worked as an addiction counselor for teens and adults, leading groups for all severity levels - including intensive outpatient groups and anger management. Her work as an addiction counselor also provided opportunities to do prevention work in Jr. High schools, and to receive extensive gambling addiction training.

Container - This one is longer (7 minutes), but is a good one to practice. It is good to be able to put things in a mental container at the end of session if we don't get to everything.
