
We are open Monday through Friday at 7:00 a.m. for patient drop-off. Our Saturday hours for medical appointments are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please call to make an appointment so that we can serve you in the most efficient manner possible. We make every effort to see that our fees are fair and reasonable for the services we provide.
Fees for office visits and procedures are determined by time spent, complexity of the problem and materials needed. It is our sincerest desire to see that you get the best value for the service we provide at our clinic. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. Dr. Hildebrandt graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. He was born and raised in Taylor County and has served at the Medford Veterinary Clinic since 1988. Dr. Hildebrandt specializes in mink and serves our food animal clients. In his spare time, Dr. Hildebrandt enjoys the outdoors, hunting and logging.

Medford Veterinary Clinic is a full-service veterinary facility. From advice on pet selection to providing the care needed to take your pet from youth to senior citizenship, we are your pet's family doctor. Pet health evaluations, annual physical exams, preventive vaccinations, parasite control, laboratory diagnostic tests, surgery, dentistry and senior care are all part of the care that we can provide.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
Puppy/Kitten Wellness

Please isolate your new puppy from other pets until we have examined if for any contagious diseases. Fecal Testing/Deworming: All puppies need to have a stool sample checked for parasites (worms). All puppies should be dewormed multiple times. Vaccinations: All puppies need a series of vaccinations starting at 6-8 weeks old.
