My attitude about acupuncture was very negative due to lack of knowledge and false perception. About 5 years ago, I was suffering from a bunion and jogging was aggravating the condition causing excruciating pain/swelling especially at night. Medical doctors suggested surgery with the risk of not ever jogging again. Regretfully, I decided to try acupuncture. After 2 treatments twice a week for a month, the swelling and pain was gone.
