Michael is a native of Northwest Indiana. He attended Culver Military Academy where he graduated with Honors and won awards for his excellence in Horsemanship, played polo, and was a part of the elite Black Horse Troop. An Indiana University alumnus, Bloomington became a part of his life the moment he set foot on campus.
