Raised in a family of artists and entrepreneurs, Michael has always been drawn to great photography. As a youth, he pored over the pages of The New York Times Magazine, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Wintry days in New York were spent in art classes and at the library, where he immersed himself in the photography of Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Annie Leibovitz and William Helburn.
He took his first photo at 10 years old while on a family trip to Disney World, using his Mom's Kodak Instamatic camera, and has been making pictures ever since. Fortunate to have always worked within his passions, Michael spent time as a newspaper and sports photojournalist, has exhibited his work in shows and galleries and had his photographs published in magazines worldwide.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael Verity Photography for an agency headshot session, and I am thrilled with my results. I was scheduled for a thirty minute session, with two looks/backgrounds, and two final images with standard retouching included.
