If you're looking for a day of leisure or maybe a morning run that can challenge even the fittest athletes, Coronado Beach is the perfect place to do so. This golden stretch connects with the Pacific Ocean and the public beach stretches for a good mile. All year round you will find people enjoying the sunny, soft-sanded beach that has been claimed to be the "best beach of the United States".
Coronado Dining

In 1996, brothers Ron and Rick Chapman started up the Coronado Brewing Company to create and celebrate The Islanders roots. They did this by creating an exceptional, original craft beer. CBC became the pride and joy of the Crown City, providing an assortment of abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales.

Hitch a ride on the Old Town Trolley Tour and experience one of the best ways to see San Diego. Painted in green and orange, these trolleys cover 25 miles of San Diego. Tours cost $36/adults and $18/children (cheaper if you buy online). It's definitely worth the price-there are at least 10 different routed tours, two of which make stops in Coronado.
