
Her goal is to transfer to the University of Arizona to major in Animal Biology with a long term goal of obtaining her DVM. Sam hopes to one day own her own practice with an animal sanctuary attached for large animals (livestock; etc.) When Sam is not working, you can find her hiking, reading, gardening, or spending time with her 2 dogs; Colt and Speckles.
Colt is a German Shepherd Mix and Speckles is a Border Collie/Blue Heeler Mix. Sam's passion for animals started as a young child and has aspired to be a Veterinarian since about 6 years of age. She started this passion at 11 years old by showing for 4H. At 14 years of age by working with animals at Colossal Cave Stables and entered the Veterinary field at age 20.

Our appointments are computerized, and this allows us to efficiently schedule office visits for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted any time our hospital is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call or come to the hospital immediately.

Dr Barry Wilkinson earned his B.S degree in Veterinary Science and Microbiology from the University of Arizona in 1999 where he was named the Outstanding Senior of his class. He subsequently attended Colorado State University where he received his D.V.M.in 2003, graduating in the top 1% of his class, just 2 months shy of his 50th birthday.
