About Us
Report
The Hermann Veterinary Clinic was opened for business in 1955 by Dr. Leo Rohlfing. The clinic was originally located at 4th and Schiller, then on 18th Street in Hermann. It was moved to the current location in 1971. Dr. Strubberg purchased the clinic from Dr. Rohlfing in 1990. For many years the focus of the Hermann Veterinary Clinic, like so many other rural practices, was mainly on food animal and equine medicine.
Hours/Payments
Report
We ask that our clients make an appointment for all non-emergency visits. This allows our doctors to stay on schedule and help as many patients as possible in an efficient manner. Of course, all emergency cases are seen by the doctors as soon as possible. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call within 24 hours to notify us so we can see another patient in that time slot.
Artificial Insemination
Report
The Hermann Veterinary Clinic is a full service mixed animal veterinary clinic located in scenic Hermann, Missouri. Our large animal team of 4 veterinarians and 3 large animal assistants are committed to bringing the latest reproductive technologies to your cattle herd. We hope you find the following information helpful in understanding some of the more commonly asked questions about synchronization and artificial insemination.
Boarding
Report
While our primary obligation is to take care of our medical and surgical patients, we also offer the peace-of-mind of veterinary-supervised boarding for your pets while you are away. Please call for reservations. All of our boarding facilities are heated and cooled. While we do not have outside runs for the dogs, we take them out for walks around our large yard twice a day.
Grooming
Report
Our groomer is available Monday-Thursday. You will be called when he/she is ready to be picked up. Cats are required to be up-to-date on their DPRC, Feline Leukemia, and Rabies vaccinations. If vaccinations are needed and the pet has had them before, we can update them at the clinic the day of their grooming.
