Dry Needling
Dry needling targets chronic muscle pain through precise needle insertion to release tightness and restore function. This technique addresses trigger points causing joint pain or restricted mobility. Backed by clinical evidence, it accelerates recovery for patients with persistent musculoskeletal issues.
Vestibular Therapy
Specialized treatment for dizziness and balance disorders caused by inner ear dysfunction. Our therapists diagnose mechanical issues like BPPV and implement repositioning maneuvers. The program improves brain adaptation to vestibular signals, restoring stability and confidence.
AntiGravity Treadmill
The AlterG AntiGravity Treadmill reduces body weight by up to 80% for pain-free rehabilitation. This technology enables earlier mobility post-surgery and enhances athletic performance while minimizing joint stress through precise unweighting.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics address biomechanical foot issues causing pain in feet, knees, and lower back. Our comprehensive assessment includes gait analysis to create personalized devices that improve alignment and distribute pressure evenly during activity.
Performing Arts PT
Tailored physical therapy for dancers and performers recovering from stage-related injuries. Our specialists combine manual therapy with movement re-education to address unique stressors faced by performing artists, ensuring safe return to rehearsals and productions.

Developed lower back pain so I looked for a highly recommended place and found Back to Motion in Capitol Hill - friendly staff and excellent practitioners. I've been going to Michael and he is great, explains what he is doing, gives tailored exercises, lots of experience but most of all - his therapy has helped me a lot! The office has a large waiting room and the therapy room are large as well. I fully recommend them!!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Michael House and Back to Motion enough! I was in a car accident and after seeing numerous chiropractors and therapists, I had all but given up hope until I found Dr. Michael House. Not only is he an incredible physical therapist, he is also one of the kindest and honest people and doctors you will ever meet. He is truly gifted at understanding the body and his treatments got me on the right path and back to my normal, active life. I almost never write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled.

I have had the occasion to revisit Back To Motion PT the last view weeks. (In 2015 Patty was was an essential component in my rehab from leg/knee surgery). I have just been reminded of how knowledgeable and skilled Patty is and attentive to the problem or task. I am simply writing this to thank her and associates. I was not techy enough 6 years ago
to do this. I would be glad to recommend her personally and/or privately.

I went in for my first visit today and could barely walk. My therapist was incredibly thorough, gentle, and had excellent bed side manor. Near the end of my evaluation she taped me up to help my knee stay in its groove and I was already walking a little better. If you have ever wondered if physical therapy is right for you then I highly recommend Back To Motion Physical Therapy!

I have had the best experience with Back To Motion Physical Therapy. I had issues with my lower back that was due to an auto accident. Dr. Patty Pennell Noel, my therapist, has given me the tools to heal and strengthen my body. Patty is nice, caring, and thorough. She takes the time to explain the problem, and exactly how to solve it. Patty helped relieve the pain I was having while I was receiving my therapy. Their office is clean and tidy and I would recommend Back To Motion to anyone who is trying to physically recover!! I hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I know I'll be in great, caring
