Hands-On Physical Therapy offers a completely fresh and multi-disciplinary approach to treating and managing pain - whether from a new injury or a chronic condition. Our focus is on manual therapy through a number of different modalities. In addition to physical therapists, we have acupuncturists on staff, as well as massage therapists experienced in both deep tissue and neuromuscular massage.
Alan Roberts, a long time friend and client, built this beautiful building for his real estate business. One day, I ran into him while looking for space for my physical therapy practice. It appeared that Alan's knee was causing him a great deal of pain as he was walking with a discernible limp. In fact, he was scheduled to travel to South America but had decided to cancel his trip because of the leg pain.
Ofer graduated with a B.A. in Physical Therapy Sciences from Ben Gurion University, one of the most prestigious medical schools in Israel. He applies the unique training he received there to treat his patients here at Hands-On Physical Therapy, the Sarasota practice he established in 2003. His medical training stressed the importance of a comprehensive physical examination at the outset of treatment in order to find the root of the pain.
When you call to make your appointment, we will ask for your insurance information, including the amount of your coverage, deductible and co-pay. For those on an HMO insurance plan, we need an authorization from your primary care physician. For those filing an automobile claim, we need to know the remaining balance of your PIP, as the insurance company will not disclose this information to us.

I went to this medical office with back pain. I couldn't sit and walk for a long time. Masseur Andy Piaseki was able to return me to normal life in 3 sessions. Needing long term care for CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome which was once called RSD) I went to six different physical therapy centers here in Sarasota FL, with regret to ALL of them. I have seen many physical therapists in my lifetime to treat my fibromyalgia related issues, but never any as knowledgable and skilled as the folks at Hands on. Their deep tissues massages will eliminate most muscle aches.
