Huber Funeral Home offered the first full-service funeral home in Perry County. Our family currently operates two funeral homes in Perry County, the Cannelton Chapel at 129 N. 6th Street and the Tell City Chapel at 1139 12th Street. Through the years our buildings have been remodeled and additions have been built several times.
Our facilities have been designed and decorated to make your family feel comfortable in a homelike atmosphere. Take a few moments to express your wishes now and help to ease the burden on your loved ones.

Report
Huber Funeral Home is a full service, family owned funeral home. Our family and staff strive to provide a dignified service with your wishes in mind. We offer a formal traditional service, or a more unique personal service with pictures and memorabilia reflecting the life of the deceased. We at Huber Funeral Home feel that the purpose of a funeral is not only to grieve the loss of a loved one, but also to celebrate the life that was lived.

Report
We will retain a copy of your requests in a confidential file and will send a copy to you for your records. We feel that it is important for you to share this information with your immediate family, so they will be aware of the choices that you have made. You will be lifting a burden of decisions off of them at a time when wise decisions are difficult to make.
Veterans Overview
Report
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
Veterans Headstones
Report
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
