
In 2007, Dawn Eskins and her two daughters founded one of the country's first cupcake bakeries in their North Carolina kitchen. Upon discovering that local schools mandated store-bought party food, this lifetime baker began creating safe, all natural alternatives. Dawn Eskins continues to open new retail locations and to create new desserts, at the bakery and on stage.
Appearances include local and national baking shows, women's shows and culinary events from MD to SC. Almost immediately, a dedicated wheat and nut free kitchen, Food Allergy Bakery, was established to meet the needs of children with special diets. Because everything was created from scratch, substitutions made it easy.

Extreme measures are taken to ensure safety, such as a separate air handler, dedicated ingredients and sealed packaging. Food Allergy Bakery (FAB) is the dedicated wheat and nut free kitchen of Carolina Cupcakery. FAB items are baked fresh then stocked in our freezers daily, available on a first come basis.
