Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors
About a month before his 15th birthday, Thomas got a job working for Abercrombie and Patterson, a funeral home in Forest Park(Clayton County). In the 1970's he built Parkway Garden Chapel and in 1987 bought and managed Tara Garden Chapel. He is no longer affiliated with Parkway or Tara.

Over the years Thomas kept up with the modern developments, while resisting, at the same time, the corporate forces that emphasized money over service and reputation.Thomas wanted to get back to operating his own funeral home with emphasis on genuine customer service with personal and professional care.

Life Choices
Report
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Why Plan Ahead
Report
Thinking about the inevitability of one's death is subject that few like to consider. For many, actually moving ahead with the pre-planning or pre-paying for their funeral is even more difficult to act on. When one begins to understand the financial and emotional pressure that a funeral can thrust on our loved ones, it becomes clear that planning in advance is a considerate and responsible thing to do.
